Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in Asia

The Heinrich Böll Foundations work in Asia is concentrated in the regions of Southeast Asia (Thailand, Cambodia and Burma), India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and China. In the light of the meteoritic economic and political development of these countries, our projects operate with an eye towards the cost of and opportunities for environmental sustainability and social justice, as well as civil and human rights. We also work to further public participation in decision making processes. Taking national conditions into account, we aim to support democratic processes and contribute to global understanding. more»
