Introduction
Climate change is no longer a theoretical issue of the future. It has actually become a reality with its full strength of implications in various parts of the world. It is no longer a part of discussions addressed by a small ecology orientated group of activists, but it is nowadays, almost on every political agenda. As part of the green political movement Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung places special emphasis on ecology and sustainable development regionally and globally.

Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Pakistan has established a main focal point of its work in the area of Ecology and Sustainable Development, since developing countries are affected most, although they contribute less to the impacts of climate change. Within the scope of our work we are aiming to meet the challenges of climate change and energy policies as well as issues of sustainable development by constructive and innovative participation more
